From London To Milano By The Street

Don’t you find that people from London and Milano colourful and inspiring! I enjoyed a lot searching for the best street styles look for you from the London and Milan Fashion Week.

I find that there’s a real difference from New York, a lot more colors and a lot less minimalist. Even if for myself I prefer simple and minimalist look I still get really inspiring from extravagant and marginal people. When I was a teenager, a dressed really marginally, I didn’t want the other kids look similar to me, I always wanted to be different. With the years, I found myself and now I’m more into simplicity!

NYFW Spring/Summer 2015 Street Style Part 2

Hey! Happy Sunday, I’m a bit late with this one, London Fashion Week is already on. But better late than never right! Here’s my NYFW street styles part 2. You can see a lot of athletic mix with tailored suit, sneakers wore with trouser pants, branded tee wore under a blazer ect.

There’s also a lot of denim, I could have added more pictures of it. We can see a lot of denim on denim outfit, fringe denim, patchwork, shirts, jeans and hats. It’s the year of denim and with the Japanese influence it make sense.

NYFW Spring/Summer 2015 Street Style Part 1

Yes, is that time of the year again, NYFW!! This week on my blog it will be all about that, street styles, fashion shows, trends ect!! It’s the best time to catch the most important trends of the season with the street styles and next season with the shows.

You know how much I would love to be there, and to be your eyes during this week. Unfortunately I will have to do it from Montreal, but I will do the best resume possible!! Enjoy the week, and let’s start with some kick ass street styles!!

What we can notice from the first two days; sneakers are still huge, relax outfits with a sophisticated touch. It’s all about comfort, feel great and look great! I love it, don’t you? Pleated skirt are bigger than ever, the culottes are still there and I think they will stay for the next season. Loose trousers, and comfy sweaters paired with great sneakers. A skirt over a pair of sleek pants, we know that Margaret Zhang is the best to interprete this look! See you soon for more xxx

Already September?

Is it already September tomorrow? Does it mean that fall is really on its way?? Ayayay, summer past so fast this year, but it’s not a bad thing since my boyfriend and I are taking our vacation early of October, so it will start our fall season pretty well right!

We’ll start our little roadtrip in Seattle, as cheesy as it might look, I can’t wait to see the Space Needle!! After that,  we’ll be heading to Portland, the land of food trucks yay! And the cherry on top, to finish our trip, San Francisco!

For my monthly street style inspiration, I also added some pics that I had kept on my Pinterest. Hope you’ll enjoy!! xx

Palm Spring

Palm Spring

No I’m not in Palm Spring, one of my co-worker, called me this name when she saw my vest this week 😉 I have to admit that the sequins mixed with the pattern, make this vest look like it comes right from the 90’s”!

But it’s not, it’s from H&M, I bought it a couple of years ago in NYC, not in Palm Spring haha! They used to have a collection called Fashion Against AIDS that helped Raise Funds for AIDS. I don’t know why they stopped, I remember that I used to wait for this collection to hit the stores. I love this vest, it’s a perfect item you can add to an outfit to add a touch of fun! Do you have a piece like that in your wardrobe? Tell me about it!

Welcome August

August already, yep it’s always like that, I never see the summer pass. But it is not finished yet!! A new month and it’s time for a new street style inspiration. Let me inspire you with the best from the streets!!

They are mostly from the latest Paris fall winter fashion week and some from Milan. This is a good guide for what we can expect for this autumn. The usual plaid mix with leather and some fur. Giant scarf worn as a coat, neoprene and the culotte is what you will see more as transitional pieces.

What is your favourite look?

Half Bun

Trends-setters.com-Half-Bun

Samurai inspiration? No, this is not where I found this hair look! You know my hair is at the length  that is not long enough nor short enough, and I’m missing inspiration right now…

I’ve seen this look on runways at the latest fashion week, and I found this very interesting. I wasn’t sure if it would look good on me, but I have to say that I like it! First,  it’s perfect for hot summer days, and it’s different from the usual bun!

If you have any good idea of how I should wear my hair at this length, let me know!!

That Denim Shirt

That Denim Shirt

Every girl should have in her wardrobe an oversized denim shirt. Whatever the wash, it is such an easy piece to grab when you don’t know what to wear.

You can wear it in so many different ways. That day, I was wearing it  practically like a dress, but I was wearing short short underneath it. In this editorial, I was wearing it with a knot at the front with skinny black denim. You can also use it as a vest, over a white tee and boyfriend jeans!

These pictures are from Friday night, after work, I changed my outfit for this comfy look, denim shirt, silk short-short, a black panama hat, birks and my minimalist tote from Rachel F available soon at Little Burgundy 🙂 Happy Sunday xx
