Coup De Coeur

Chloé Resort 2014

This collection represents really well what I want to wear this next spring. Nautical inspirations, with the long and large trousers. The pastel colors mixed with this vibrant yellow mustard, I love it, particularly on the jacket. And,  what about those culottes aren’t they perfect? I know they are not for everyone, but totally my type, I need a pair!!

Chanel Autumn/Winter 2014-15 Ready-To-Wear

Chanel-Dallas-1 Chanel-Dallas-2 Chanel-Dallas-3 Chanel-Dallas-4 Chanel-Dallas-5

On December 10th, Karl Lagerfeld presented his latest Chanel Métiers D’Art show on the road to Dallas’s Fair Park. These collections called Métier D’Art have been presented in different cities around the world since 2002. This year Lagerfeld choose Dallas because he says that he simply love texans, he says that Texas is wild but he made it more romantic.

Even if this collection is not really my style, I have to say that this is not only A ready To Wear collection but this is art, it’s brilliant. It’s doesn’t look like all the native look that we have seen the last couples of year. This is the perfect mixe between the cowboy and the Indian flavors, there is no war when Karl Lagerfeld expresses it trough this collection. I would love to know what are your thoughts about this collection, leave me your comments!!

Chunky Sweater

Acne-Shoes

Nothing better than a chunky sweater to keep us warm during the cold season. This one is vintage, it’s oversized the way I like them. I discovered an handmade knitwear collection on Instagram last week wich I fell in love with, I Love Mr. Mittens. You have to go take a look at her collection, from the chunky beanie to the perfect cable knit!!

Acne-Pants-Zara-Blazer

I’ve got some new Acne pants today, haha!! There is an awesome shop on my street called Stockmarket, it’s a small outlet where they sell brands that I love, like Acne, Filippa K, James Perse and more. Last week-end, they started their samples sale so I went there after work. I bought three pieces from James Perse wich I will show you later this week-end! The pants that I wore today, the Contact Crinkle are from the SS11 collection, a bit old, but still totally my style of clothes! I like the fact that you could where them relax, like I did today or more chic, with a nice blouse and heels.

I made a big decision in my life lately, and it has affected me a lot, emotionally I mean, that’s why you may have found my blog post less frequent this past couples of week. Don’t worry, nothing bad, the opposite actually, but it was a hard decision and I had to think about it seriously. I will tell you soon, but for now I started to feel better and I will be more focus on my blog 🙂 kisses Isabelle

Céline Resort 2014

After a long wait, since last June, Céline finally made their resort 2014 collection pictures available. As you may know now, they were keeping their collection away from all media attention because of the too fast mainstream fashion brands, like the big Spanish chain Zara. I think this was a genius move, first it created a really big buzz around the collection and Zara had to figure out something else to do, but I’m not worried for them at all haha!! Stella McCartney is their new muse 😉

The latest collection wasn’t my favorite, but Pheobe Philo gives us what we expect from Céline with the Resort collection. Minimalist, androgeneous, oversized with a Karate touch, oh and what about the fox fur coat, is Wes Anderson was part of the inspiration? 😉 I’m in love with this Resort collection! Here’s my favorite pieces

But if you are like me, it might be a little over your budget, so I found some similar affordable versions 🙂 Here’s a picture of Natasha Goldenberg wearing it at the latest fashion week!

3.1 Phillip Lim For Target

Ayayay it’s now on, the 3.1 Phillip Lim for Target collection. Are you ready it is now or never! It should be the most successfully collaboration that the big American chain have done. I prepared that post in advance because at this moment I am shopping for my favorites pieces of this line 🙂 You’ve got to be fast, as I don’t think this line will stay for long!! Here, a preview of it, are you ready for this??

Via Target:

Meet Phillip Lim

Since introducing the world to his collections in 2005,
Phillip Lim has continuously challenged the fashion world
with cutting-edge sophistication and quality.
A three-time CFDA award-winner, he is known for his
super-chic designs, which are frequently seen on the red carpet.

One of the reasons I wanted to collaborate with Target is because I felt that together we could create a collection that would inspire-one that is cool and chic, but still very accessible

Exclusively for Target, the collection showcases men’s and women’s clothing and accessories. It’s sophisticated yet functional, and allows anyone to be effortlessly stylish on the go.

Happy Shopping!!

Karen Millen

I discovered the Karen Millen line not long ago, while shopping on Asos for fall. I fell in love with their check wrap skirt; see the second picture. Then, I came across their website and thought I should share it with you! The masculine aesthetic that inspired their autumn/winter collection really got my attention. They also have a really cool website with a KM insider where you can get cool and useful tips, like how to wear checkered patterns or how to wear masculine tailoring!

Here are some pictures from their Autumn/Winter 13 campaign and some from my favorites pieces of their latest collection!
